About the Role
Do you want to be at the cutting edge of Research and Development? Join a team that's evaluating world-leading Agilent new product designs to prepare them for real world use. Agilent Technologies is offering a paid, 12-month full-time, engineering internship commencing in February 2025. This hands-on role will be in the quality department and focus on new hardware design testing and evaluation.
During this internship, the successful applicant will gain hands on industry experience in a global company, collaborating with a multi-discipline team on product evaluation, engineering design reviews, and data analysis. They will also have firsthand experience of the development processes followed to bring new technology and advanced manufacturing together to create world class spectroscopy products.
This role will require the successful applicant to:
Use state of the art test equipment to test Agilent products that are under development.
Perform root-cause analysis and recommend engineering solutions to the design engineering teams.
Define and implement test setups, methods and limits and verify that tests meet the required measurement specifications.
Design custom test fixtures for reliability testing.
Schedule and perform tests, equipment calibrations and maintenance to maximise up-time.

Desired Qualifications
Currently undertaking a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Manufacturing, or similar – 2nd or 3rd year.
