Tianfei Ren received the Women of STEM scholarship at the Adelaide Big Day In Conference on June 13th, 2024. The Women of STEM Scholarship program, supported by industry donors, aims to increase the number and visibility of young women entering the STEM field. Tianfei is starting her studies at the University of Adelaide this year, with a focus on Engineering and Science.
Although she initially faced difficulties with her studies due to language barriers, she was able to develop a strong passion for technology, mathematics, and physics sparked by the enthusiasm of her physics teacher which led to her passion in engineering.
She’s interested in pursuing a career in aerospace engineering due to her deep passion for space exploration. She dreams of working at NASA and eventually establishing her own company for aerospace technology.
